Happy those who aid the poor and the lowly,
God will help them when they are in trouble.
Yahweh will protect and preserve them, will make them happy in the land.

Psalm 41:1-2

As the steering committee continued its deliberations on day three, Brenda Gonzales, SCN, in her opening prayer, invited everyone to contemplate on our role as women of mercy during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. Adeline Fehribach, SCN, who chaired the day’s sessions, invited the members to journey through shared moments of Grace in the reports covered by the India Provinces Common esponsibilities. It included Formation, Retirement, EPDO, and Central Finance Division.

The Province Leadership Teams of both Patna and Bangalore Provinces presented the reports. Earlier in the day, SCNs. Basanti Lakra and Philo Kottoor jointly shared the Report of Patna Province. In the afternoon session, the Province Leadership Teams of all three Provinces presented reports of Incorporated Ministries and Societies, which was also attended by SCNs Roshini Pereira and Vimala Rani. Every report revealed the depth of Grace received and shared.

As the reports of the ended, Sangeeta Ayithamattam, SCN, presented the organizational flow chart of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. The organizational flow chart offers a clear picture about the order of accountability of various units of the Congregation. The day ended with the members celebrating the liturgy with the local community and the candidates.
