We, the nine Temporary Professed Sisters of Jharkhand region, gathered in Ranchi to spend a day of prayer and sharing with our director, Amelia Moras, SCN, vice provincial from the evening of Oct. 27, 2017. The next day morning liturgy set the tone for our day. A special welcome was given to the three newly professed Sisters and Sister Amelia. With a play therapy, all relaxed and spent an hour in contemplative meditation. We also spent time in reflection and connected our life story with the message from the card each one had picked up from a set of cards with various messages. After spending some quality time of reflection we shared our experiences in the group.

We also had time to read and discuss three articles in three groups. The articles were: Persons of depth: Contemplatives in Action; Grow up in Five areas and The Crisis of Individualism. After the group discussions, we presented the summary of each article in the large group. It was an enriching and a learning exercise.

It was a joyful gathering and we experienced unity, love, and care of one-another. We were happy to come together and to meet one another. We ended our program with a thanksgiving prayer. We are grateful to the Sisters in Ranchi house for their hospitality.
