God loves the cheerful giver

Sisters Mary Michael Dang and Nisha Chemmanam (pictured above left) went to visit the poor and the sick of Kanye Village. The Sisters went with two women of the parish. Mrs. Jean Magosi, SCNA, and Elizabeth Mohule a catechist. Food items and other supplies were provided by the Indian Christian community at Gaborone to distribute to needy families which were sorted out by the parishioners. It was a heartfelt experience for all especially for the Sisters to know there are many poor, sick, abandoned, mentally, and physically ill persons around Kanye Village. They prayed with the families and spent some time listening to the people about their sorrows and pains. The families appreciated the generosity and kindness of the Indian Christian Community, the parish priest, Rev. Thomas, CMI, and the presence of the Sisters.
