We began Lent reflecting on Hop Hopkins’ quote:

“We’re in this global environmental mess because we have declared parts of our planet to be disposable.”

That includes the people who live there. Over the past few weeks
we have read stories from our Sisters around the world about what “disposability” looks like from their vantage point. As we edged toward Easter, we heard from Pope Francis and others to deepen our awareness of and compassion toward the needless suffering that environmental injustice and racism/casteism causes globally.

Now, entering Holy Week, let us listen to the song below and pray together for healing in our world. Let us give our hearts and minds over to labor for a world that honors the dignity and rights of all God’s creation.
