The SCNs in Pittsburgh, along with 12 other religious communities of Catholic Sisters in the Pittsburgh and Greensburg, Pennsylvania dioceses, opened their doors last week to collect food for the poor. The food drive was a success! Donations of food, paper goods, and funds came from many SCNs and friends, including St. Louise Convent, the Sisters at Caritas, the SCN Associates, Vincentian Home, Vincentian Academy, Vincentian Child Care, Vincentian Villa, Vincentian Regency, Vincentian Personal Care, Marian Manor and Vincentian DeMarillac. Sisters also brought in donations from those at their various ministries, including schools and local parishes.
