Five SCNs, Agnita Bhengra, Jyoti Bara, Margaret Bharwa, Sabitha Pereira and Sahaya Mary made their final profession in Ranchi amidst great joy. Most Rev. Auxiliary Bishop Binay Kandulna was the main celebrant and 23 priests concelebrated the Holy Eucharist. The family members of the Sisters, around 30 SCNs and many friends were present to mark the occasion. The candidates, juniors and the program participants from Catherine Spalding Center led the celebrants and the Sisters with a beautiful dance.

It was a very solemn moment when the five Sisters prostrated themselves in front of the alter as a sign of their complete surrender to God and to the SCN Congregation bringing tears in the eyes of their family members, indeed the tears of joy and a sense of offering their daughters for the service of the Lord in the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Sangeetha Ayithamattam, SCN Provincial, delegate of the President, received the vows.

Bishop Kandulna gave a beautiful inspiring homily during the Holy Mass on the theme of love. The choir created a prayerful yet lively atmosphere with their melodious voices and instrumentals. Sabita Pereira, SCN, expressed special thanks to all.

After the Holy Mass the Sisters were felicitated with garlands, flowers and gifts while the choir sang “Congratulations.”
