Fight For $15

Many cities across US held rallies and one day strikes in support of fast food workers getting $15 per hour and the right to form a union. In Boston, Massachusetts, events held a day earlier were a rally and march and one day strikes. April 14, 2016, also coincided with the Sixteenth Annual Labor Seder, of the Jewish Labor Committee. On April 15, a "walkback" was held, to accompany workers back to their workplace, to show community and interfaith solidarity, and to ensure that there is no retaliation against workers who were on one day strike.

April 15, also the third anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing, was a day of reflection and service, “Boston Strong”.
