Leo & Agnes Burkhart House – 1 spot remaining
This home is being built in memory of Leo and Agnes Burkhart by their four daughters:
Marjorie, Jean, Rosemary and Susan.
We were privileged to have had such wonderful parents who were raised on small farms in Ohio.
Our father worked at Republic Steel for 42 years and our mother was a homemaker who taught us many skills along with responsibility. Our parents were faith filled , loving, family-oriented and had a strong work ethic. They were always helping others in the community. Through sacrifice and saving, they paid for all 4 of us to attend college and receive degrees in the fields of education and nursing. In appreciation of our parents, we are happy to pass along to others the legacy that they gave us.
St. Ambrose House – 4 spots remaining
This house build is being sponsored by St. Ambrose Catholic Church out of Belpre, OH. This is the third home the parish has sponsored.

Carol Cecil House – Full
Barbara Cecil, SCNA is sponsoring this home build in memory of her sister, Carol Cecil.
Carol was a beloved teacher at St. Joseph School in Bardstown, Kentucky. She loved the color green, bulletin boards, and banana Laffy Taffies. She often stayed late at school to prepare lessons, she recycled paper and plastic, and she learned to read music so she could participate in the church's bell choir. She collected bells, books, and memories.
Carol Cecil, 51 years old, taught third grade at St. Joseph for 25 years. On May 10, 1998, she lost her battle with cancer, dying peacefully at home surrounded by her pastor, family, and friends.
