Storm brings flooding to Caribbean coastline

Please pray for the people of Belize. Hurricane Earl has made landfall on the coast of Belize, bringing destructive winds and flooding rain.

Residents of Belize City and other coastal communities were advised to stay away from the coast and to seek refuge in storm shelters. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth living in Belize City report that they are doing fine after the storm.

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth are accepting donations to be used to assist the people of Belize with food, roofing, and home repairs due to flooding and damage to property. Please continue to hold all in Belize in your prayers and continued support.
