Doors to Hope Volunteers Receive Award

The University of Louisville Student Philanthropy Program presented Doors to Hope with a $1,000 check to go towards the improvement and continuation of the services which Doors to Hope provides.

Rebecca Miles, SCN, attended the award ceremony. She says, “It was with gratitude that I accepted the generous donation from the UofL Student Philanthropy Program. It has been a delight getting to know the UofL student volunteers and I am most grateful to them for sharing their time and talents in tutoring ESL and helping the children with their after school homework assignments here at Doors to Hope. Special thanks to Mr. Henry Cunningham, Ph.D., Director of Community Engagement and Adjunct Professor of Caribbean Studies for making this all possible!”
