Doors to Hope is moving! Due to the expansion of the ministry, Doors to Hope had outgrown its space and therefore the staff and hired movers spent the day yesterday moving the ministry to a new location just a few miles away. Director Lorena Miller, Program Coordinator Johanna Roca and Program Services Assistant Jose Antonio Oliva Dumois make up the staff at Doors to Hope which also relies on volunteers and donors to keep the busy ministry running.

In the morning, Julie Driscoll, SCN, met the staff at the ministry’s original location at Holy Name and offered a prayer of gratitude. “Thanks for the way the ministry has expanded. Thank you to every student, adult and child, the staff, the Sisters, and anyone who helped this ministry over the years. … For all that has been ‘thanks’. For all that will be ‘yes'”.

In the afternoon, Liz Wendeln, SCN, (see photo) gathered with the staff to offer a blessing for the new space at St. Simon and Jude saying “God is working miracles.” Staff members also prayed for blessings on the future of Doors to Hope.
