Crisis management training in Mokama

Fifteen Sisters from Ashirvad North and South communities and two Sisters from Nazareth Convent attended the first crisis management training meeting on July 19, 2015, at Nazareth Hospital, Mokama, the 68th Foundation Day of Nazareth Hospital.

Through a PowerPoint presentation, SCNs Kitamai Sinku and Malini Manjoly explained the importance of making a crisis management plan for each local community. After the presentation of the theory, in two groups, the participants made a crisis response plan for one potential crisis for each unit. The plans were presented in the large group. Everyone had an opportunity to critique them to make these plans better.

With the hands on experience, the Ashirvard North and South communities started filling up risk assessment forms for the year. The groups have set a target date for the submission of their filled forms.

Well done, Sisters!
