Lilly Luka, SCN, organized a seminar on child rights on November 5 at Z.P. High School, Musunuru, for about 300 students and staff.

Sudha Rani, SCN, welcomed the chief guests, Smt. Syamala Devi (Advocate, J. J. Desk, Navajeevan, Vijayawada) and Bosco Seva Kendra co-ordinator, Mr. Ambedkar. The students and teachers participated actively and interacted well.  Smt. Syamala Devi and Mr. Ambedkar explained to the children that they have an equal right to freedom, birth and education.
At the end of the program the children were divided into four groups for discussion on the condition of the poor village children and their lifestyle. Some of the students shared their experiences.

Benerjee Master helped us with awareness songs for the students and teachers. He is a real support to us and a good neighbor. Everyone appreciated the program and it was reported in the local print media the following day.
