Nazareth School Banakal celebrated its Annual Sports Meet on December 6th, 2014. The day saw many colorful and inspiring displays of drills. The audience included parents and members of the general public. All in attendance were in for a real surprise when they saw the “Grand Finale.“ It was comprised of a fusion of drills performed by three hundred students, thirty angels singing “Gloria….”, a Christmas message from Master Arjun Silvester Pinto from Class IX on why we celebrate Christmas every year, and the entrance of three Santa Clauses with their Jingle bells, sweets, and chocolates for all. It was a delight for all present! The Chief Guest, Mrs. N.K. Saradamba, Tahsildar, the Revenue Inspector, Mr. Gangadhar, and other dignitaries stayed to visit with and compliment the students and staff. A special award, "The Best Social Worker,” was introduced to raise social consciousness among the young. The award was presented to Miss Rinkle Blemita Lobo of class IX.
