On Thursday, February 4, the Sisters at Caritas in Pittsburgh had a nice surprise. Benedictine Prioress Karen Brink and Sr. Barbara, OSB, arrived laden with gift bags to celebrate the second anniversary of two communities coming together. When the Benedictine monastery was flooded on January 31st, 2019, SCNs graciously offered them housing at St. Louise convent for several months.

“Because of the pandemic we were prevented from visiting each other and growing our friendship. So it was a delight to see them again,” said Linda Soltis, SCN.

The Sisters at Caritas have decided to use the variety of snacks and spirit warming beverages for Super Bowl watching on Sunday.
