It was a history making day as dozens gathered at the Nazareth Academy in Gaya, India, to inaugurate the Academy’s new building. His Grace, Most Rev. Archbishop Willam D’Souza, S. J. Archbishop of Patna Archdiocese, blessed the new building on October 22, 2009. The architecturally unique and beautiful new structure located in front of the auditorium comprises two state-of-the-art Computer labs, Language and Maths Labs, NOSA office and an Audio-visual hall.
The blessing and inauguration ceremony was followed by a colorful cultural program given by the Senior Section of the school. During the cultural extravaganza of dances, dramas and display of musical talents, the Archbishop, our Chief Guest, and two Guests of Honor, Sangeeta Ayithamattam, SCN Provincial of Eastern Province, and Shree Sanjay Kumar Singh, IAS, District Magistrate of Gaya captured the audience with their inspiring and encouraging words of wisdom. Each speaker emphasized the prime importance of value-based Education for Life for our students in the ever-changing scenario of today’s fast moving world .
