Today SCN volunteers were hard at work cleaning the cemetery after a storm hit the Nazareth campus. Many trees came down, windows were broken, and some places on the Motherhouse roof took on water.
The SCN lay mission volunteers are used to responding to the needs in Belize, Appalachia, Montana, India, and Botswana. After a heavy storm hit the Sisters’ home on Wednesday, Sister Luke Boiarski and her volunteers were ready to respond.
With chainsaws and heavy equipment, they cleared the cemetery of all debris.
