Ann Moyalan, SCN, works in the slums of Delhi. She oversees programs and classes that empower the residents of these mostly muslim slums. These include a tailoring class and mehendi for girls. Classes are also taught for boys and girls and a youth group has been created for the young men of the area. The idea is to bring up the entire community through transformative social change. In this video Sisters Ann Moyalan, Agnes Tudu, and Malini Manjoly, lead me through the streets of Janta Colony, where this ministry takes place.

Today I also experienced mehendi myself and visited the grave of Mahatma Ghandi.
