On Saturday, March 11, a former resident of St. Thomas-Vincent Children’s Home, Jerome Mudd, and his family, came for an early celebration of Sister John Ann’s 100th birthday. Jerome was at the Children’s Home when he made his first communion. Sister John Ann baked him a cake — a kindness that he has never forgotten. So, for her birthday he baked her a cake in gratitude. “It was the first cake I ever baked completely on my own!” said Jerome.

Jerome’s wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and their 4-month-old twin girls joined the party, along with some of the Sisters.
