A nursery at Kosair Children’s Hospital, in Louisville, Kentucky, will be named in the months to come in honor of Ann Elizabeth Molony, SCN, who died recently. She was a Sister of Charity of Nazareth and a dearly loved volunteer at the hospital.

Employees and volunteers held a prayer service earlier this month. At that time a poem written to honor Sister was read aloud. Employees also talked about a video that had been made some time ago by Jean West to highlight Sister Ann Elizabeth’s ministry. An SCN alumni was touched by the video and wrote to the Sisters of how it had moved both she and her husband. She described how the video opened with Sister Ann Elizabeth walking into her old unit and being greeted by employees, many of whom were crying when they first saw her. The SCN family member wrote, “Sister was given one hug after another, and every single person told her how much they missed her."

Details regarding the plaque and nursery dedication honoring Sister Ann Elizabeth will be shared as they become available.
